Bering Air's baggage policy reflects the constraints of regional aviation to remote Alaska communities. Effective June 1, 2025, passengers receive one checked bag and one small personal item (backpack, handbag, or laptop) free of charge up to a combined limit of 50 lbs. Additional space-available baggage up to 50 lbs is also free. Starting July 1, 2025, up to two additional bags under 50 lbs each cost $50 each; bags weighing 51–100 lbs cost $100 each.
Cabin baggage is limited to small personal items (backpacks, handbags, laptops). During takeoff and landing, the pilot may require that cabin baggage be stowed for safety and weight-and-balance compliance.
