Aircraft

Calm Air operates a mixed fleet of turboprop and regional aircraft, each selected for specific operational roles.

Twin-engine turboprops (ATR 42, ATR 72, Saab 340) form the backbone of scheduled regional services, offering reliability and fuel efficiency on short to medium routes. The ATR 72 is the larger variant, providing higher capacity on busier regional routes.

For access to remote communities with minimal infrastructure, Calm Air operates the Cessna 208, a single-engine aircraft capable of operating from unimproved airstrips. The Hawker Siddeley HS 748, a pressurized twin-engine transport, provides additional capacity and altitude performance for longer regional flights.
