Aircraft

Druk Air operates a compact, modern fleet designed for regional service across the Himalayan region. The airline's aircraft are selected to match route demands and operational constraints, particularly the challenging terrain and airfield limitations around Paro and other regional destinations.

Airbus A319: These narrow-body jets form the backbone of Druk Air's longer regional routes, offering medium-range capability and passenger comfort for trunk services, particularly the Delhi–Paro corridor and other regional connections.

ATR 42: These twin-engine turboprops provide flexibility for shorter regional sectors and airports with limited infrastructure. The ATR 42's operating economics and short-field performance make it well-suited to supporting secondary routes and maintaining network connectivity.
