KLM cityhopper operates a single-type fleet of Embraer regional jets, comprising the E-175, E-190, and E-195 models. These aircraft are modern, fuel-efficient turbofans designed specifically for regional routes of 200–2,500 km, making them ideal for KLM cityhopper's network across Europe.

The E-175 typically carries around 76 passengers and handles shorter regional sectors. The E-190 and E-195 accommodate up to 124 and 214 passengers respectively, allowing deployment on busier routes and longer regional flights. All three variants share cockpit commonality, simplifying crew training and operations.
