Aircraft

Mustique Airways operates two aircraft families, both twin-engine turboprops built for short-haul regional service. The Britten-Norman Islander is a high-wing, nine-seat utility aircraft renowned for exceptional short-field performance and operations from unprepared strips. The De Havilland Canada Twin Otter is a larger, 19-seat regional transport also optimized for rough terrain and remote locations.

Both aircraft share similar characteristics: rugged construction, low cruising speeds, and exceptional fuel efficiency on regional hops. They are ideal for inter-island routes where runway length and infrastructure are limited, making them fundamental to Caribbean connectivity.
