Online check-in is available for domestic flights only. Check-in opens 48 hours before departure and closes 30 minutes before departure time. There are no fees for online check-in.
Steps to check in online (domestic):
- Visit www.virginaustralia.com at least 48 hours before your flight
- Enter your booking reference and name
- Select your seat and add any extras if needed
- Download or receive your boarding pass by email
International passengers: Online check-in is unavailable. You must check in at the airport counter, which opens 3 hours before international departure. Allow sufficient time for counter processing.
Practical tip: For domestic flights, check in as soon as the 48-hour window opens to secure preferred seats and avoid last-minute queues.
