Air Alderney does not offer online check-in. All passengers must complete airport check-in in person at either London Biggin Hill Airport or Alderney Airport.
Check-in timing: The check-in counter opens 60 minutes before your scheduled departure and closes 25 minutes before departure. Arrive well in advance to allow time for baggage processing and security procedures.
- Arrive at the airport at least 60 minutes before departure
- Proceed to the Air Alderney check-in desk with your passport and booking confirmation
- Declare any excess baggage and pay applicable overage fees
- Receive your boarding pass and baggage tags
- Proceed through security and to the departure gate
Practical tip: On regional routes with small aircraft, baggage space is limited. Confirm your baggage allowance when booking and consider shipping excess items separately if traveling with more than one bag.
What happens if I miss the check-in deadline?
If you arrive after check-in closes (25 minutes before departure), you will not be permitted to board. Air Alderney operates small aircraft on tight schedules, so no exceptions can be made. Plan to arrive early.
Is there priority check-in for frequent travelers or premium passengers?
Air Alderney operates as a charter service with flexible booking. Contact the airline directly at [email protected] to discuss any special arrangements or priority services for regular clients.
