Aircraft

Luxair operates a fleet of 22 aircraft optimized for regional and short-haul European services. The fleet composition balances capacity, range, and operational efficiency.

Aircraft families: The Embraer ERJ 140 and ERJ 145 form the backbone of regional services, offering seating for up to 50 passengers and serving shorter routes with quick turnaround times. The De Havilland Canada Dash 8 variants provide flexible turboprop capability for regional routes and airports with shorter runways. The Boeing 737 provides narrow-body jet capacity for longer continental routes and higher-frequency services on trunk routes from the Luxembourg hub.

This balanced fleet strategy allows Luxair to optimize costs and match aircraft size to route demand across its 95-destination network.
