Silver Airways (IATA: 3M, ICAO: SIL) was a United States regional airline founded in 2010 and headquartered in Hollywood, Florida. The airline ceased operations on June 11, 2025, after more than a decade of service connecting communities across the southeastern United States and the Caribbean.
At the time of its final operations, Silver Airways maintained a network centered on four main hubs: Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Orlando International Airport, Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (San Juan, Puerto Rico), and Tampa International Airport. This strategic hub structure enabled the airline to serve both domestic markets and international destinations, with a particular focus on Florida-based and Caribbean routes.
The Silver Airways fleet consisted of eight ATR 600-series turboprop aircraft-specifically ATR 42 and ATR 72 models. These fuel-efficient, twin-engine aircraft were well-suited to the airline's regional mission, offering reliable service on shorter routes where larger jets would be uneconomical. In 2018, Silver Airways expanded its operations through the acquisition of Seaborne Airlines, strengthening its presence in the Caribbean market.
