How online check-in works
Online check-in is free and opens 30 days before departure if you have purchased a seat, or 24 hours before departure if you have not reserved a seat. Check-in closes 3 hours before departure. To check in online, visit www.wizzair.com, enter your booking reference and name, select your flight, choose a seat (if not already assigned), and confirm. An automated check-in option is available for a fee, which checks passengers in 50 hours before departure. If you prefer airport check-in, Wizz Air charges €30–€50 depending on the route and timing.
Practical tip: Avoid the airport check-in fee by completing online check-in during the eligible window; set a reminder for the opening time to secure a preferred seat.
