Aircalin

Aircalin (IATA: SB, ICAO: ACI) is New Caledonia's national airline, established in September 1983. The airline is 99% owned by the Government of New Caledonia, with minority shareholding including employees. Its headquarters and main operational hub are located in Nouméa at La Tontouta International Airport, which serves as the primary connection point for the airline's regional network.

The airline operates scheduled services connecting New Caledonia with destinations across the broader Oceania region and into Asia. As the territory's primary international carrier, Aircalin plays a key role in regional connectivity, linking La Tontouta to key Pacific and Asian hubs. The airline participates in the Flying Blue frequent-flyer program, offering loyalty benefits to regular passengers.

Aircalin's fleet reflects a strategy balancing long-haul capacity with regional flexibility.
