Pakistan International Airlines (IATA: PK, ICAO: PIA) is Pakistan's national flag carrier, established in 1946. The airline operates from three major hubs: Jinnah International Airport in Karachi (its primary base and headquarters), Islamabad Benazir Bhutto International Airport, and Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. As of 2025, PIA is owned by the Arif Habib Consortium following its privatization.
The airline maintains a network spanning 50 destinations across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America, connecting Pakistan to key regional and international markets. Its fleet comprises 35 aircraft, including modern wide-body and narrow-body jets as well as regional turboprops, enabling operations on both long-haul international routes and domestic services.
PIA's fleet consists of Airbus aircraft (A300, A310, A320 families), Boeing 777 long-range jets for intercontinental service, and ATR turboprops (ATR 42 and ATR 72) for regional connectivity.
