How online check-in works
AirKenya does not currently offer online check-in through its website. Passengers must complete check-in at the airport counter before departure. Check-in typically opens 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international connections, and closes 30 minutes before scheduled departure.
- Arrive at Wilson Airport or your departure airport at least 2–3 hours before flight time
- Proceed to the AirKenya check-in desk with your passport and booking confirmation
- Present your baggage for inspection and weight verification
- Receive your boarding pass and baggage tags
- Proceed through security screening
- Board according to the gate announcement
Practical tip: Regional airports served by AirKenya may have limited check-in hours or staffing. Arrive early and confirm check-in procedures when you book, especially for flights to smaller destinations.
