How online check-in works
First Air provided online check-in options for passengers traveling on larger aircraft. Online check-in typically opened 24 hours before departure and closed 1–2 hours before flight time, depending on whether the flight was domestic or international.
- Visit www.firstair.ca and navigate to the check-in section
- Enter your booking reference and last name
- Select your flight and review passenger information
- Choose or confirm your seat assignment
- Review baggage details and complete the process
Practical tip: For flights from smaller airports or those operated by regional turboprops, check-in at the airport counter was often required. Arrive at least 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before any international service.
