Iran Air fleet

Iran Air operates a diverse fleet structured for both regional and longer-haul services. The Airbus A300, A310, and A330 form the wide-body backbone, handling intercontinental and high-capacity regional routes. The narrow-body Airbus A319, A320, and A321 family covers the bulk of mainline operations, serving dense regional networks and medium-range international flights.

For regional routes and thinner markets, Iran Air deploys the ATR 72 turboprop and Fokker 100 jet, enabling efficient service to smaller airports. The McDonnell Douglas MD-82 adds additional capacity on select routes. This mixed composition reflects operational flexibility across Iran's domestic network and regional connections.
