How online check-in works
Online check-in is available 24 hours before your scheduled departure and closes 3 hours before takeoff. There are no fees for online check-in. After completing online check-in, you must visit the baggage drop counter at the airport to check any bags.
- Log in to your Kuwait Airways account or booking reference on the airline website or mobile app.
- Enter your booking reference (confirmation code) and passenger details.
- Select your seat (if not already assigned).
- Review your baggage declaration and add any excess baggage if needed.
- Complete the check-in process and save your boarding pass.
- Proceed to the baggage drop counter at least 90 minutes before departure to hand over checked luggage.
Practical tip: While online check-in opens early, baggage drop counters require your physical presence 90 minutes before departure. Plan to arrive at the airport with sufficient time to drop bags, pass security, and reach your gate.
