Mahan Air fleet

Aircraft

Mahan Air operates a mixed fleet suited to Iran's network of long-distance and regional routes. Long-range widebodies including the Airbus A300, A310, A340 and Boeing 747 form the backbone of international services and high-capacity domestic trunk routes between major cities. These aircraft provide economy and business-class seating and are equipped for extended flights across the Middle East and beyond.

Regional turboprops-the Fokker 50, Fokker 100, BAe 146, and Avro RJ85-serve smaller domestic airports and secondary routes, allowing the airline to serve Iran's full network without requiring dedicated narrowbody jets. This regional fleet is well-suited to shorter sectors and airports with limited infrastructure.

The fleet composition reflects Mahan Air's role as a full-service domestic and regional carrier, balancing efficiency on high-traffic routes with the flexibility to serve smaller communities across Iran.
