Satena fleet

Satena operates a fleet of 19 regional aircraft designed for short- to medium-range routes and operations in remote areas. The fleet consists primarily of two aircraft families:

ATR turboprops (ATR 42 and ATR 72) are the backbone of Satena's operations. These high-wing, twin-engine aircraft are ideal for unprepared airstrips and challenging terrain, enabling service to Colombia's most remote destinations. Their proven reliability and fuel efficiency make them perfect for thin routes.

Embraer regional jets (ERJ-145 and E-170) provide faster service on higher-demand routes and handle longer distances. These jets offer improved comfort and speed for regional hubs and more established routes, while maintaining the capability to operate from smaller airfields.
