How online check-in works
Online check-in is available free of charge through srilankan.com and opens 48 hours before departure, closing 2 hours prior to flight time. This allows you to obtain a mobile or printed boarding pass before arriving at the airport.
- Visit srilankan.com and navigate to the check-in section.
- Enter your booking reference and passenger name.
- Select your seat (if not pre-assigned) and confirm any baggage declarations.
- Download or print your boarding pass, or receive it via email.
At the airport: Passengers with only hand luggage should report to their departure gate 45 minutes before departure. Those with checked baggage must present themselves at the baggage drop-off counter 90 minutes prior to departure.
