TAROM

TAROM (IATA: RO, ICAO: ROT) is Romania's national airline and the country's longest-established carrier, having commenced operations in 1954. Based at Henri Coandă International Airport near Bucharest, TAROM serves as the main hub for connectivity to 28 destinations across Europe and the Middle East.

The airline operates a diverse fleet of 14 aircraft, including narrow-body jets (Boeing 737, Airbus A318) and regional turboprops (ATR 42, ATR 72). This combination allows TAROM to serve both major European hubs and smaller regional airports efficiently. As a member of the SkyTeam alliance since 2010, TAROM passengers benefit from codeshare connections and access to the Flying Blue frequent-flyer program.

TAROM's network focuses on business and leisure travel within Europe and to selected Middle East destinations, with particular emphasis on connections through its Bucharest hub. The airline competes on regional routes while maintaining a position as Romania's primary international carrier, generating EUR 433 million in revenue (2024).
