Fleet
Trigana Air (IATA: TN, ICAO: TGN) is Indonesia's regional carrier, established on 15 March 1991. The airline operates from its main hub at Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport and maintains a route network of 20 destinations throughout Indonesia, with particular emphasis on serving Western New Guinea and underserved regional markets.
The airline's fleet consists of ATR 42 and ATR 72 turboprops for regional operations, complemented by Boeing 737 aircraft for higher-capacity trunk routes. This mixed-fleet approach allows Trigana Air to efficiently serve both major airports and smaller, remote airfields across the Indonesian archipelago where longer runways may not be available.
In March 2021, Trigana Air established a partnership with J&T Express, Indonesia's major logistics operator. Under this arrangement, J&T Express utilizes some of Trigana Air's aircraft for cargo and express delivery operations, expanding the airline's revenue streams beyond passenger services and deepening its integration into Indonesia's supply chain network.
