Headquartered in Barcelona-El Prat, with a secondary hub in Rome-Fiumicino, Vueling operates Spain's largest fleet by aircraft count and serves 99 destinations across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. The carrier is known for affordable fares and a broad network connecting major European cities to leisure and business destinations.
The airline's fleet consists entirely of Airbus narrowbody aircraft: the A319, A320, and A321. This standardised fleet of approximately 142 aircraft enables efficient operations and maintenance while supporting both short-haul and medium-range routes. Vueling is Spain's primary low-cost carrier and maintains one of Europe's highest operational standards, having earned certification as Europe's first airline recognised as a Top Employer.
With around 4,600 employees, Vueling operates a hub-and-spoke model centred on Barcelona, complemented by Rome operations. The airline offers a frequent-flyer programme called Vueling Club, which integrates with the Avios loyalty scheme. Its route network emphasises intra-European connectivity, with strong links to Mediterranean, Central European, and Iberian destinations.
