How online check-in works
Online check-in is available through www.airniugini.com.pg and opens 24 hours before your departure. Check-in closes 3 hours before departure (some sources indicate 2 hours; confirm with Air Niugini directly). Note that online check-in is not available for flights departing from Australia and Japan-passengers on these routes must check in at the airport counter.
Steps to check in online:
- Visit www.airniugini.com.pg 24 hours before departure.
- Enter your booking reference and passenger name.
- Select your seats and review baggage information.
- Complete the check-in process and receive your electronic boarding pass via email.
Practical tip: If you are departing from Australia or Japan, arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before international departure to allow time for counter check-in and security procedures. No online check-in fees are charged.
