The airline's fleet comprises 25 aircraft, predominantly consisting of Boeing narrowbodies (737 and 767) and Fokker regional jets (70 and 100 series). This mix enables Air Niugini to operate both long-haul international routes and short-haul domestic services efficiently. The fleet composition reflects the airline's dual role: connecting Papua New Guinea to international markets while serving the country's internal network.
Air Niugini operates a frequent flyer program called Destinations, structured in three tiers: a free entry level plus paid Silver and Gold Executive Club memberships. The airline also owns Link PNG, a subsidiary carrier. As the national flag carrier, Air Niugini remains the primary international gateway for Papua New Guinea.
