Air Tahiti fleet

Aircraft

Air Tahiti operates a modern, purpose-built fleet optimized for regional service across the South Pacific. The backbone consists of ATR 72-600 and ATR 42-600 turboprops, twin-engine aircraft designed for reliability and efficiency on short regional routes. These workhorse aircraft handle the majority of scheduled inter-island services.

Complementing the ATR fleet, De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otters and King Air B200GT serve the network's smallest and most remote airstrips. These smaller turboprops provide essential connectivity to islands with limited runway infrastructure, enabling Air Tahiti to reach destinations inaccessible to larger aircraft.

This fleet composition reflects the airline's geographic mission: connecting distributed island communities with aircraft sized appropriately for each route's passenger demand and airport capabilities.
