How online check-in works
Online check-in opened 24 hours before your flight and closed 2 hours before departure for most airports, or 90 minutes for some locations. This window allowed passengers to select seats, confirm flight details, and receive boarding passes before arriving at the airport.
Steps to check in online:
- Visit www.islandair.com approximately 24 hours before your scheduled departure.
- Enter your confirmation number and passenger name.
- Review flight details and select your preferred seat.
- Download or print your boarding pass, or save it to your mobile device.
If you preferred airport check-in: Arrive at least 90 minutes before departure for flights from Hilo, Kahului, Kona, or Lihue; 60 minutes for other island locations. Note that baggage must be checked at least 30 minutes before departure regardless of check-in method.
