Norwegian Air UK fleet
Aircraft
Norwegian Air UK operated a modern fleet comprising two main aircraft families: the Boeing 737 narrowbody jet and the Boeing 787 widebody jet.
The Boeing 737 formed the backbone of the network, serving short- to medium-haul European routes with efficiency and reliability. Its configuration optimized capacity and fuel economy on high-frequency city-pair services typical of European aviation.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner extended the airline's reach to longer European destinations and provided enhanced passenger comfort on extended routes. The 787's advanced aerodynamics and fuel efficiency made it well-suited to Norwegian Air UK's cost-conscious operating model.
Both aircraft types were modern and well-maintained, supporting the airline's operations from Gatwick until the airline's closure in January 2021.
