Pacific Island Seaplanes fleet

Pacific Island Seaplanes operated a specialized fleet designed for remote and island operations across the South Pacific. The fleet comprised two main aircraft families: helicopters and seaplanes.

Helicopters in the fleet included the Eurocopter AS350 B3e and AS355, versatile rotorcraft suitable for passenger transport, scenic tours, and operations from confined landing zones. These aircraft provided access to locations without airstrips or water landing facilities.

Seaplanes consisted of the Britten-Norman Islander BN-2A-21 and the de Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter, both proven platforms for inter-island connectivity. These aircraft could land on water, enabling service to remote communities and resort destinations inaccessible by road or conventional airport infrastructure. The combination of seaplanes and helicopters was central to the airline's operational model in Fiji.
