The airline operates a network spanning 60 destinations across Central Asia, the Caucasus, and select international routes, with primary hubs at Shymkent International Airport, Almaty, Astana, and Aqtau.
The fleet comprises 31 aircraft, including Boeing 737, 757, and 767 narrowbody and widebody jets, alongside Bombardier CRJ-200LR regional turboprops. This mix enables SCAT to serve both high-demand trunk routes and smaller regional markets. The airline is also notable for being the first carrier outside North America to resume Boeing 737 MAX operations, achieving this milestone in February 2021.
SCAT operates a subsidiary, Sunday Airlines, which specializes in charter flights. The airline's strategy balances scheduled service across Kazakhstan and neighboring countries with flexible charter capacity, making it a significant regional player in Central Asian aviation.
