How online check-in works
Online check-in opens 30 hours before departure for most flights (24 hours for USA-bound or USA-originating flights). Check-in closes between 30 and 120 minutes before departure depending on your destination.
- Visit www.airfrance.com or open the Air France app.
- Enter your booking reference and last name.
- Select your flights and confirm passenger details.
- Choose or confirm your seat selection.
- Complete the check-in process and download your boarding pass.
- Drop your checked baggage at the airport check-in counter before the stated deadline.
Practical tip: Complete online check-in as early as possible to secure preferred seats and avoid airport queues; however, you must still arrive at the airport in time to deposit checked baggage.
