How online check-in works
Online check-in opens 24 hours before your scheduled departure. You can check in via delta.com, the Fly Delta app, or at airport self-service kiosks. Online check-in is free and recommended to save time at the airport.
- Visit delta.com or open the Fly Delta app and enter your confirmation number and last name.
- Select your seat if not already assigned (premium seat selection may incur fees depending on fare type).
- Provide baggage information and answer required security questions.
- Receive your boarding pass digitally or print it at home.
Tip: Check in online immediately when the 24-hour window opens for domestic flights to secure preferred seats and avoid airport queues. Note that online check-in closes 45 minutes before domestic flights and 60 minutes before international flights; after these times, complete check-in at the airport counter or kiosk.
