How online check-in works
Online check-in opens 24 hours before departure and is available via the Germanwings website (www.eurowings.com). Electronic check-in is the fastest and recommended method for passengers traveling with carry-on baggage only.
- Visit www.eurowings.com and select 'Check-in' from the main menu.
- Enter your booking reference (confirmation number) and surname as shown on your ticket.
- Review your flight details and select your boarding group.
- Download or screenshot your boarding pass; a mobile version satisfies airport requirements.
- Arrive at the airport with sufficient time before boarding begins.
Practical tip: Complete online check-in 24 hours before departure to secure your boarding position and avoid airport queues. Mobile boarding passes work at all Germanwings airports, eliminating the need to print.
