Sansa Regional operates the ATR 42, a twin-engine turboprop aircraft designed for regional service. The ATR 42 is a workhorse in Central American aviation, offering reliable performance on routes of up to approximately 1,000 km. With a capacity of around 40–50 passengers, these aircraft are optimized for frequency and accessibility on regional networks, able to operate from smaller regional airports with limited infrastructure.
The ATR 42's fuel efficiency and operating economics make it ideal for the airline's regional route network, balancing passenger capacity with cost-effective service to smaller destinations across Central America.
