Volotea fleet

Volotea operates a streamlined fleet of 41 aircraft, all from two Airbus jet families: the A319 and A320. Both are modern, fuel-efficient narrow-body jets optimized for short- to medium-haul European routes. The A320 is slightly larger (typically 180 seats) than the A319 (approximately 156 seats), allowing Volotea to scale capacity to route demand. This homogeneous fleet reduces pilot and crew training complexity, minimizes spare-parts inventory, and ensures consistent passenger comfort across the network. The aircraft are well-suited to secondary European airports with shorter runways, enabling Volotea's point-to-point strategy.
